The short version
Everything you type into a Calcist calculator is calculated on your own device. We don't collect, store or sell it.
What stays in your browser
Your calculator tape, the calculators you used recently, and your light or dark mode choice are saved in your browser's local storage so they're there next time. They never leave your device. Clear them with the Clear all button or by clearing your browser's site data.
Share links
When you use "Copy link to this result", your inputs are put into the link so the result can be reopened. Only share a link if you're happy for the person to see those numbers.
Hosting and basic statistics
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request information (like IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We may use Cloudflare's privacy-friendly analytics to count page views; it doesn't use cookies to track you across sites.
Children
Calcist is suitable for students and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
