How a weighted grade works
Multiply each score by its weight, add those up, and divide by the total weight.
Grade = (score₁ × weight₁ + score₂ × weight₂ + …) ÷ (weight₁ + weight₂ + …)
With homework 92% (20%), quizzes 85% (20%), midterm 78% (25%) and project 95% (15%), the weights add up to 80%, and the grade so far is 86.44%. The final exam will make up the missing 20%; see how much you need on it with the final grade calculator.

Questions people ask
How do I calculate my grade?
Multiply each score by its weight, add the results, and divide by the sum of the weights. If there are no weights, just average the scores.
What if my weights don't add up to 100%?
That usually means part of the course (like the final) isn't graded yet. Your grade is then your average over the parts done so far.
What is an 87% as a letter grade?
B+ on the most common scale, though some schools use different cut-offs.
